A Seamless Media Unit in the Kitchen

When most people think of a fitted kitchen, they picture cupboards, worktops, and maybe a larder. But for this project, our client wanted more: a media unit that didn’t feel like an add-on.

The Challenge
The kitchen was already the heart of the home, but the open-plan layout meant the TV and storage needed to blend perfectly with the cabinetry. The client didn’t want a bulky media wall dominating the space or something that looked like it had just been slotted in.
Our Solution
We designed and built a seamless, integrated media unit that sits flush with the kitchen cabinetry. Same boards, same finish, same handles — so it feels like one continuous piece. No visible joins, no clashing materials. Just a clean line that runs effortlessly from cooking to relaxing.
The Result
The space is cohesive, modern, and practical. The media unit disappears into the kitchen when not in use, while offering smart storage and a sleek focal point when needed. Everything is built in-house, sprayed in Tikkurila for durability, and designed to last.
“We wanted the kitchen to feel like a living space, not just a cooking space. Craig and the team nailed it — the media unit looks like it’s always been there.”
Why It Matters
When we talk about fitted furniture, it’s not just about storage. It’s about creating a home that works seamlessly for the way you live. Whether that’s a media wall in the kitchen, a hidden boot room, or a wardrobe that uses every millimetre — we design and build it all under one roof, to one standard: quality that lasts.
